As I recall I have prepared Thanksgiving Dinner for the last 25 years or so, but who's counting ? Lol... That's a lot of Turkey !!
The devil is always in the details, it seems. Like a perfect NASA lift off, coordinating all of the wonderful elements of a proper Thanksgiving Dinner requires good timing and careful planning. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail !! It seems that I had failed to plan at family planning while planning a family and now I have a Huge A$$ family to feed !! Lol...
This year things will be a little different as we got an Amish Turkey. I knew that the Turkey was authentic as it did not have the usual pop-up-timer. It had a manual timer that you have to pop up yourself. Pop in. Pop up. The Amish Turkey raised suspicions when it was revealed the the Turkey had two left wings and nothing on the right. If it squawks like a Duck, and walks like a Duck... It must be an Amish turkey.
